About Kamchatka
Kamchatka is one of Earth's most remote and wild regions. The peninsula hosts 30 active volcanoes, 29 of which are within Kamchatka Volcanoes National Park (UNESCO). Brown bears fish for salmon in clear streams. The landscape is volcanic, stark, and unforgiving. Tourism infrastructure is minimal. This is adventure travel for experienced expedition travelers. Helicopter tours reveal the volcanic landscape. Hiking and fishing expeditions are incredible.
