About Salar de Uyuni
The Salar de Uyuni stretches 10,000 square kilometers of pure white salt across the Bolivian highlands. During the dry season, the flat becomes a surreal void where sky and earth blur together. In the wet season, a thin water layer creates a perfect mirror, the largest on Earth, reflecting clouds as if they float across the ground. The Andes frame the horizon. Flamingo-filled lagoons and geysers nearby complete the otherworldly landscape.
